Antonio Brown wants Ben Roethlisberger to just ‘shut up already’

Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger never had a great relationship in Pittsburgh. The Steelers quarterback repeatedly called Brown out for mistakes and threw him under the bus during their nine seasons together.

But now that Brown is a member of the Oakland Raiders, Roethlisberger is feeling regret over how he handled nearly a decade of being a bad teammate to arguably the best receiver in the game. Funny how that works.

Roethlisberger joined NBC’s Michele Tafoya for an interview this week, and he admitted that he should have handled things differently when it came to Brown. Roethlisberger felt that it ruined a “friendship.”

Brown, though, doesn’t want to hear any of it. (Update: He deleted the tweet, but here’s a screenshot).

Upon seeing a clip of that interview, Brown tweeted that he never considered himself friends with Roethlisberger. He also wanted the Steelers quarterback to “shut up already” about their relationship in Pittsburgh.

Brown is on a new team, and he clearly doesn’t want to deal with Roethlisberger. Perhaps Big Ben should take a hint.
