Antonio Brown is posting curious tweets after his release

Antonio Brown requested his release from the Oakland Raiders on Saturday morning, and the team finally decided to cut ties with the wayward wide receiver hours later. After continuously making headlines since he reported for training camp in late July, Antonio Brown is now a free agent, and his antics may have cost him $29 million in guaranteed money, pending the outcome of a likely grievance.

According to Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, the seven-time Pro Bowler is interested in finding a new team, and hoping for a “new beginning.” It remains to be seen how many teams will be interested in Brown, and how much money he’ll be offered – but in the meantime, Brown is tweeting through his issues.

Brown responded to a joke tweet from the Vancouver Canucks, confirming he’ll be showing up for NHL training camp next week.

He then posted a two-word tweet that may or may not be a shot at NFL analyst and ex-quarterback David Carr, or his brother, current Raiders QB Derek Carr. David Carr has been critical of Brown, and said Saturday morning during an appearance on the NFL Network that there was “relief” among the Raiders over Brown’s impending exit. Brown recently unfollowed Derek Carr on Instagram.

Brown also tweeted a quote that sums up his break up with the Raiders, at least from his own perspective.
