Antonio Brown in; Marcus Cannon, Brandon Bolden out for Patriots in Week 2

Antonio Brown will dress for the New England Patriots in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. He signed with the team on Sept. 7 after getting released by the Oakland Raiders earlier that day. This will be Brown’s Patriots debut.

The Patriots will be without a handful of injured starters, however. Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon (shoulder) and kick returner Brandon Bolden (hamstring) are out with injuries. They were among the team’s seven inactives on Sunday: Cannon, Bolden, cornerback Joejuan Williams, defensive end Deatrich Wise, running backs Brandon Bolden and Damien Harris, receiver Jakobi Meyers and guard Jermaine Elumunor.

With Cannon out after suffering the shoulder injury in Week 1, the Patriots’ offensive line situation will be worth monitoring. It’s unclear who will take over the job on Sunday, with tackles Korey Cunningham and Marshall Newhouse joining New England over the last two weeks.

Gunner Olszewski seems like a potential replacement for Bolden on the kick return unit. Olszewski looked impressive in Week 1 as the team’s kick returner.
