Antonio Brown’s sons seem to have missed their dad’s offseason drama.
While the NFL world fixed its gaze on Brown’s departure from the Pittsburgh Steelers, the trade seemed to go over the heads of his kids, who were confused when they were attending training camp with Brown. A teaser for HBO’s show, “Hard Knocks,” showed the funny scene.
One of his sons asked: “Where’s [Ben] Roethlisberger?”
“He plays with the Steelers,” Brown said. “Our quarterback is Derek now. We don’t play with Roethlisberger no more. We play with the Raiders. We play with Derek Carr.”
His son replied: “Derek Carter?”
And I am officially a superfan of Brown’s kids. Not only are they adorable when they’re running their own drills on the sideline, but they’re also super cute when trying to figure out what the heck their dad did this offseason. Somehow, they made an awkward situation adorable.
