Antonio Brown goes after Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger in Twitter tantrum

It seems former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown woke up on Sunday morning and decided to go full scorched Earth on everyone. Brown took to Twitter early on Sunday to proclaim he was done with the NFL because after being released by two teams in less than two weeks he is distraught as to why they aren’t paying him.

He then went a step further and called what he perceives as hypocrisy by the league in how they handle situations like his. He even went so far as to bring up Ben Roethlisberger and an incident from nine years ago.

I get why Brown is acting the way he is. He’s likely spent most of the money he’s made in the NFL and understands his earning potential takes a massive hit every time a new controversy crops up. Sponsors are dropping him and if he can’t find a way to get one more big payday how will he maintain the lifestyle he’s grown accustomed?

Either way, things are going to get worse before it gets better for Brown. Twitter tirades aren’t the way to win anyone over and he is running out of options.
