Antonio Brown gets his answer from Steelers fans

For some inexplicable reason, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown took to Twitter on Sunday to ask Steeler Nation if they wanted him in Pittsburgh. And he did it in the most AB way possible as he asked for retweets.

We now fast forward five days and more than 36,000 people retweeted Brown’s original tweet. Additionally, almost 24,000 people liked it but this wasn’t part of his request. But what do the results mean?

It might appear fans are on board with Brown staying with the Steelers in 2019. But when you consider Brown has 1.35 million Twitter followers, 36,000 doesn’t seem very significant.

And you can bet this would be how Brown took it. His ego is so big but at the same time so fragile he was setting himself up for disappointment by even posting the tweet. Hardcore Steelers fans don’t put the players ahead of the team. Never have and they never will. I hope Brown isn’t traded, but if he thinks he hasn’t lost a huge portion of the fanbase with his antics, he’s kidding himself.
