Antonio Brown calls out Baker Mayfield, says Lamar Jackson should have been drafted first

After burning through his third team in about six months, wide receiver Antonio Brown has been spending a lot of time on Twitter. He’s had some pretty hot takes over the last week and threw more shade this morning.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield responded to a comment on his Instagram account by taking a shot at Brown. Of course, Brown responded quickly on his Twitter account. He followed it up with another pretty big shot, saying Mayfield should have been drafted after Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Mayfield, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 draft, has been having a tough second season, completing just 56.9% of his passes for 805 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions en route to a 1-2 record to start this season.

Meanwhile, Jackson has been on fire, helping to lead the Ravens offense to the top ranking in the league. The No. 32 overall pick in last year’s draft has completed 63% of his passes, throwing for seven touchdowns and no interceptions while adding another 172 yards and a touchdown on the ground to help put Baltimore at 2-1.
