Antonio Brown aims to embarrass JuJu Smith-Schuster by sharing old DM

Antonio Brown has turned a private direct message into a public affair.

The Oakland Raiders receiver shared an old direct message from JuJu Smith-Schuster, in which the former USC standout and current Pittsburgh Steelers receiver showed respect for Brown. Smith-Schuster sent the message when he was in college.

Brown seemed to be making a point amid his social media beef with Smith-Schuster. The two have been arguing on and off since the Steelers traded Brown to the Raiders in March. In this instance, Brown seemed to want to expose Smith-Schuster’s early admiration — hoping that it will deliver a mic drop.

In actuality, the post only makes Brown look like an even bigger jerk. The message violates Smith-Schuster’s privacy. And frankly, it’s downright impressive that Smith-Schuster had the confidence and smarts to reach out to Brown with hopes of learning how to be a professional.

It’s not like Brown revealed anything we didn’t know about Smith-Schuster. He has been open about his respect for Brown.

Smith-Schuster has said he once looked up to Brown, prior to the receiver’s fallout with Pittsburgh, which stemmed from a tense relationship with Ben Roethlisberger. As a result, Brown asked for a trade and ripped into the Steelers on his way out. Smith-Schuster, meanwhile, showed support for Roethlisberger and the organization — and that’s, in part, because he’s going to be their No. 1 receiver.

Brown continues to find new ways to make himself look bad.
