Antoni Sarcevic cannot wait to take on his old side Bolton Wanderers with Stockport County later this week in the FA Cup after his whirlwind surprise move to the National League side.
The former Wanderers skipper made a shock departure from the University of Bolton Stadium last month to join the Hatters.
Sarcevic missed the FA Cup first round clash at Wanderers against his former side which ended 2-2 and has set up a replay this Wednesday evening at Edgeley Park.

The midfielder is poised to be involved against his old side and he can't wait to take on his old team.
Some 5,000 away supporters followed the Hatters to Bolton a few weeks ago and this week's clash is poised to be a 10,000 sellout at Edgeley Park.
And it is something that Sarcevic believes can spur Stockport on this campaign.
He said: "I stay in contact with a few of them who I'm close with anyway. I can't wait, as simple as that - I can't wait.
"Even when you look at what we took to Bolton last week, I was watching with my mum and dad and I just said 'look at that, that's what spurs the lads on now to make sure this season's a successful one."
Sarcevic admits it has been a 'whirlwind' past few weeks, moving to a new club and experiencing a managerial change so early in his County career when Simon Rusk was dismissed and replaced by Dave Challinor.
The midfielder revealed that County had been interested in him before he moved to Wanderers last summer and that it was in the back of his mind to move to Edgeley Park at some point.
And when the opportunity presented itself, it was one the former Wanderers skipper wanted to take.
He said: "It's been a whirlwind! It's the craziest two weeks I've had in football, but I just want to get my head down now and forget about everything and focus on Stockport County and helping this club get promoted this year.
"Stockport showed an interest before I signed for Bolton and honestly, it was interest that I was keen on and they've always been in the back of my mind.
"I know a few lads and when the opportunity came, it was an opportunity I didn't want to turn down and I'm made up to be a Stockport County player."
