Anton Danyluk says he never wanted to be famous in Love Island dig

Anton Danyluk has made a subtle swipe at his reality star fame as he insisted his fitness career is his main concern in a new interview.

The Love Island 2019 contestant, 24, revealed he never went on the hit ITV2 dating show in order to become a reality TV star but thanked the popular series for giving him a huge platform.

In an interview with Daily Star Online, Anton, who found Love in the sun-soaked Mallorca villa with his now ex-girlfriend Belle Hassan, hinted at his 'move away' from the Love Island label.

The Scottish hunk insisted that his main focus is his career in the fitness industry, which was established well before his Love Island experience.

He told the publication: "For me, going on Love Island was never to be a reality TV star, that’s not what I wanted to do."

However, the star ensured to thank TV bosses for his opportunity as he continued: " I am appreciative of the platform Love Island gave me."

The fitness fanatic was keen to promote his new ventures with his app and was honest as he revealed his plans to use his Love Island platform to help his appeal.

Anton added: "Don’t beat the hands that feed you.

"I will always have that attachment to me, but I think it’s important that people know I owned a gym, and have been in the fitness industry, long before I went on the show."

Anton's hint at his potential step away from stardom to concentrate on his fitness career comes just months after the ex Islander revealed he was quitting alcohol after getting too caught up in the celebrity lifestyle.

The reality star admitted he had "lost his way" after being propelled to fame overnight following his Love Island stint.

Never a big drinker before Love Island, Anton confessed he realised he had been spurred on to drink more than usual.

Having thrown himself into work outs, the Scottish hunk went cold turkey for six months and launched fitness app 'Anton Fitness'.

After repeatedly being pied and friedzoned, Anton finally coupled up with glam Belle, and they continued their relationship on the outside world.

But after it fizzled out, the personal trainer is single once more, and recently joked that he would be keen to enter the first ever winter series of the show in Cape Town.

Despite now insisting he wants to distance himself from Love Island fame, Anton seemingly forgot about this as he joked about his next Love Island stint.

Posing topless with his swimming shorts and sunglasses on, Anton had his personalised Love Island suitcase ready to go.

"Right that’s it, I’m going in," he captioned his picture.
