Antoine Griezmann's revelation which could be bad news for Arsenal and Unai Emery

New Barcelona signing Antoine Griezmann has named the one player he would love to play with.

And it may not sit well with too many Arsenal supporters.

The France international sealed his big-money move to the La Liga champions earlier in the month from rivals Atletico Madrid following five successful years in the Spanish capital.

Having missed out on Champions League success last season, Griezmann could be one of several new faces this summer and the 28-year-old seems to have one particular player in mind.

"As a player I would like to play with Alexandre Lacazette," Griezmann told Sky Sports . "He's a friend of mine off the field and we've played together for the national team.

"He's got a lot of talent."

These comments come at a time where Lacazette has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou.

Towards the end of last season, reports in Spain claimed that Barcelona were considering a shock move for  Lacazette as they look to provide competition to Luis Suarez in the centre-forward role.

And the Frenchman didn't rule anything out.

"It is flattering!," he told Telefoot, as per  Get French Football News  when asked about the reported interest.

But with  Griezmann  now a Barcelona player, it's unlikely that the Catalan giants will make a move for  Lacazette  which is music to the ears of most connected to the north London outfit.

Although the Catalan giants seem to still be in the market for another forward before the transfer window shuts for Spanish clubs on September 2nd.

The first-choice target appears to be Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar who has been linked with a return to Barcelona after a couple of years in the French capital.

Should that deal fail to materialise then do Arsenal and Unai Emery have something to worry about amid Griezmann's comments?

Were the La Liga outfit to go back in for the Frenchman then Arsenal and Emery would have a decision to make as the transfer budget reportedly stands at £45m as a result of not winning the Europa League final against Chelsea.
