Antoine Griezmann had a night to remember as Barca's €130million summer signing stepped up in the abence of Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez - all injured - to score twice and set up another in a 5-2 win over Real Betis on Sunday.
While Griezmann (perhaps wisely) chose to simply get on with things after scoring his his first Barca goal to draw the Blaugrana level with Betis, he afforded himself a little glitz and glamour for his second strike of the night.
Four minutes into the second half, Griezmann whipped a superb effort into the bottom corner from the right-hand side of the box, showing a little of the star quality which convinced Barca to sign him from Atletico Madrid.
After celebrating with his team-mates, Griezmann approached a man by the corner flag who poured out red and blue confetti into the forward's hands, which he duly sent skyward in tribute to LeBron James' signature chalk toss.
NBA legend James replied to a Bleacher Report comparing the two celebrations by telling Griezmann: "I see you brother!! Helluva match and the chalk/confetti toast was right on point!!"
Griezmann - who told Barca fans afterwards that the celebation was in order to 'Let our colours shine' - was naturally delighted to get a response from James... but then threw down the challenge to "change chalk for confetti".
Your move, LeBron.
