Antoine Griezmann plays as Arsenal on Football Manager - and this is his line-up

Antoine Griezmann is the Arsenal boss... on Football Manager, at least.

The Atletico Madrid striker has made no secret of his admiration for the computer game in the past, sharing an image of his Marseille game save last year.

He was also snapped during 2016 while on international duty playing the game, with rumours circling he was in control of a virtual Chelsea side.

But it actually turned out to be Lyon, thwarting speculation of a switch to Stamford Bridge.

However, he has now shared an image of his game save as Arsenal manager - with a virtual line-up that would have Arsenal fans salivating.

Griezmann has England keeper Jordan Pickford in goal, playing behind a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Napoli's Kevin Malcuit is at right-back, with Bournemouth youngster Chris Mepham partnering Ajax star Matthijs De Ligt at centre-half. Porto's Alex Telles is the left-back.

Sporting's Manuel Fernandes partners Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong at the base of the engine room.

Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey and PSV's Hirving Lozano flank Benfica star Joao Felix in the three behind the striker.

And the only current Gunners star in the starting XI is Alexandre Lacazette.

Liverpool's Andy Robertson is among the substitutes, as is Leipzig and Germany striker Timo Werner.

When one fan accused him of 'downloading tactics', Griezmann replied: "Downloading tactics. Hmmmm. I know football!"
