‘Antlers’ starring Keri Russell set for October as ‘Nightmare Alley,’ more movies get release dates

The horror movie “Antlers” will hit theaters just in time for Halloween.

The film, which stars Keri Russell, is now scheduled to come out Oct. 29, Searchlight Pictures said Thursday as the studio announced release dates for multiple movies.

“Antlers” had been scheduled to arrive in cinemas in April 2020, but the supernatural film vacated that date last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The movie sees Russell play the teacher of a mysterious student in a small Oregon town where a dangerous creature is wreaking havoc.

Searchlight also said “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” a drama starring Jessica Chastain as the titular televangelist, will come out Sept. 24 after previously being slated for this April.

“The Night House” starring Rebecca Hall, meanwhile, is set to come out July 16, while “Nightmare Alley,” directed by Guillermo Del Toro, is scheduled for Dec. 3.

Based on a classic 1946 novel, “Nightmare Alley” stars Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette and Willem Dafoe.

Del Toro also produced “Antlers,” which released its first trailer in late 2019.
