Antivax protesters block road in Bristol city centre

Hundreds of ant-vax protestors have taken to the streets in Bristol today (November 20) and caused traffic problems in the city.

The gathering was filmed next to Cabot Circus, on the Horsefair Road leading to Broadmead.

Traffic around the area was affected, with queues building in the city centre.

Avon and Somerset Police have said the protest passed without any problems, with no arrests made.

The footage appears to show people marching down the road with banners and posters saying "No Covid passports" and "Media is the virus".

Hundreds of onlookers watched as the march moved towards Castle Street.

The protest is not the first time an event like this has happened in Bristol, with ant-vaxxers gathering at a walk-in vaccination clinic in August.

The march comes as the Government steps up its booster jab campaign, with the third jabs being added to NHS Covid passes.

So far, over eight million people have received their booster jab.
