A guest on Antiques Roadshow was left speechless after discovering the worth of her old Barbie doll.
The woman seemed amazed when she was told her pristine condition '60s doll could be sold for up to £1,500.
Expert Judith Miller heated up the anticipation straight away when she said: "I have never, ever seen a Barbie doll in this condition."
The stunned guest simply replied: "What?"
Valuer Judith began by giving a brief overview on the history of the iconic figure, which in this doll's case had surprisingly never been played with.
"They were launched at the New York Toy Fair in 1959," she explained.
"They were an immediate success. Everyone wanted a Barbie doll. I think Mattel have sold over a billion Barbie dolls. They cost three dollars when they were first launched.
"Do you think she's very valuable?"
Appearing to be unsure, the woman replied: "I don't know. I've heard people say it could be valuable if it's an original. I know it's in good condition."
Judith went on to say: "It's not from the very beginning of production, it's from the '60s. I think this would sell for between £1,200 and £1,500."
The figure seemed to leave the guest shell-shocked. She paused and looked down to the ground before uttering: "Wow. Well.
"It's certainly something I wasn't thinking about. It's absolutely lovely."
Elsewhere on the show, the huge valuation of an 'automaton' moving statue of a snake charmer received a round of applause from the audience.
Bagging the biggest valuation of the night, the item was estimated to be worth a whopping £80,000.
The 130-year-old antique left its owner seeing stars after expert Jon Baddeley told him he was sitting on a goldmine.
Jon described how the item is thought to be "one of the most important automatons ever made".
"It was made in Paris at the end of the 19th century and she's obviously called the snake charmer," he said.
The owner told how it was his late dad's antique and described how his dad began collecting items following his retirement.
Jon went on to say: "If you decided to sell it today at auction you'd been looking at between 60 and £80,000."
The valuation left the man gobsmacked, and he simply replied: "Really?"
