Lairy geezer action sits awkwardly alongside dreary discussions of the politics of street art in writer/director Reg Traviss’s uninspiring crime caper. Rising Banksy-esque graffiti artist Dee (Gregg Sulkin) wants to make a living spray-painting, but is uncomfortable about the thematic dilution of his work by corporate interests. Meanwhile, brother Marcus (Josh Myers) wants to smash-and-grab his way to a mint, but is uncomfortable about the rival gang who appear bent on shooting him in the face, assaulting his girlfriend and stealing his drugs. Oh, and the rozzers, who appear to be closing in. It’s a peculiarly uneven endeavour, constantly yearning to do something interesting (Andrew Shim lends reliably likable support) yet consistently failing to escape its hackneyed Lahhhndan lads milieu. As for the heist scenes, they’re tellingly cut-price.
