Anti-government protesters injured in Iran's Khuzestan

Iranian state media says a number of people have been wounded during two days of clashes between police and protesters across the southeastern region of Khuzestan.

Eleven people were hurt after unknown gunmen fired shots during a demonstration in the city of Abadan.

Protesters have been demanding a clean drinking water supply in their region and other basic necessities.
