Anthony Taylor vs Jack Fincham fight OFF after Love Island star misses weight

Anthony Taylor vs Jack Fincham has become the second fight on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs Deji to be cancelled over weight dramas.

MMA fighter Taylor was scheduled to meet Love Island star Fincham at tonight's event, which takes place at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. 'Pretty Boy' was looking to pick up his first professional win over the year having won an exhibition against X-Factor star Ashley Tebi last month, whilst talented amateur Fincham was set to make his pro debut. The fight was contracted at light-heavyweight and Taylor made the 175lb limit, but Fincham came in almost seven pounds overweight at 181.8lb.

Taylor was informed this morning that his bout with Fincham, which he flew from LA to promote in London before heading to Dubai, was on the prelims for the event and stormed out of the fighter hotel this morning. Mirror Fighting understands that he is aiming to leave Dubai today, before the event takes place.

Taylor had been under the impression that he and Fincham, who have over two million followers between them on social media, would be competing on the main pay-per-view portion of the event. The news comes just an hour after Tommy Fury's fight with Paul Bamba was also cancelled after Fury also missed weight by almost seven pounds, weighing in at 181.4lb for the light-heavyweight fight.
