Anthony Stokes seals Turkey switch as former Celtic and Hibs striker joins Adana Demirspor

Anthony Stokes has put the finishing touches to his move to Turkey and joined Adana Demirspor.

The former Hibs and Celtic striker has been confirmed by the club, as he put pen to paper on a two-year deal.

In an announcement on Twitter, it was revealed that Stokes has already started work on getting his fitness levels up.

He will be carrying out double sessions as he looks to get his match sharpness up.

Stokes enjoyed a relatively successful spell at Tractor but left the club over a dispute surrounding unpaid wages.

The Irishman left Hibs at the beginning of last year after Neil Lennon ran out of patients with the forward.

The player is a hero among the Easter Road support for his double in their Scottish Cup Final win against Rangers .
