Anthony Russell has spoken out following his departure from the X-Factor tour.

The Scouse star suddenly dropped out of the show, 48 hours before he was due to return to Liverpool, in February.

An X-Factor tour spokesperson later added: "Anthony has had to leave the tour for personal reasons. We would appreciate people respecting his privacy and wish him well for the future.”
