Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell stabilize Cubs' lineup vs. Milwaukee

May 09--MILWAUKEE -- The Miller Park roof is closed, and the temperature has dropped by about 25 degrees Saturday as the Chicago Cubs seek to maintain their hot hitting against the Milwuakee Brewers.

Anthony Rizzo will bat in the third spot for the fourth consecutive game. Rizzo is batting .330, including a .364 mark with three home runs and six RBIs on this trip. Rizzo ranks third in the National League with a .456 on-base percentage.

Rookie Addison Russell has stabilized the ninth spot in the batting order. Russell extended his hitting streak Friday night to 11 games. The Elias Sports Bureau confirmed that Russell is the first National League player since at least 1920 to earn an 11-game hitting streak exclusively from the No. 9 spot in the batting order.

Jordan Schafer of the Minnesota Twins was the last player overall to have an 11-game hitting streak exclusively from the ninth spot from Aug. 21-31, 2014.
