Anthony Ralston has urged Celtic to stay relentless to round off a sublime spell.
Ange Postecoglou ’s team have chalked up five straight wins since returning from the last international break to boost their bids at home and in Europe.
Celtic now face Livingston, Ferenvcaros and Dundee before the squad splits again for the final national-team gatherings of the calendar year and the defender is determined for the team to keep pressing forward.
Ralston said: “We have big games to round this period of the season off before the international break.
“So it’s important that we go into each game the way we have been approaching so far, keep on this winning run and keeping the confidence high.
“We’re all in a good place, so we just need to keep that going.”
Ralston has played a massive part in the campaign so far and his diving header against Hibs in midweek brought a fourth goal of his season.
The right-back told Celtic TV: “I am delighted for us as a team.
“It’s not an easy game to get a victory and we were terrific, especially in the first half.
“For myself personally, I’m delighted to get another goal and it contributes to the team in a positive way. That’s what I like to do, so I’m happy with that.
“I saw it come over the top and to get there, I had to do that [diving header], so I’m delighted.
“I work in training every day and, when it comes to the game, I just want to do as much as I can for the team. That’s my job.”
Ralston and his defensive colleagues also had to perform at Easter Road with the hosts attempting to battle back after a blistering Celtic beginning which brought them their three goals in the first 30 minutes to assume control.
He said: “Our movement, our speed of play, we were very direct as well. The front three were terrific in terms of movement and midfield as well.
“But come the second half, we were made to defend as a team. We did well to defend as a back four and goalkeeper and Joe made some excellent saves to keep it the way it was.
“So all round we showed we can go out, we play, we can dominate the game, but we also have that side where we can dig deep and defend when we need.”
