Anthony Martial with Manchester United squad for Everton fixture

Anthony Martial has been pictured with the Manchester United first-team squad ahead of their Premier League fixture against Everton on Sunday afternoon.

The French forward did not arrive with the rest of the squad at The Lowry Hotel on Saturday night but was pictured boarding the team bus on Sunday morning.

Martial failed a fitness test before the 5-0 Europa League thrashing of Club Brugge on Thursday due to an apparent thigh injury, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted a decision would likely be made on his fitness late this weekend.

“No we don't know yet," Solskjaer admitted to MUTV ahead of the match.

"We have to try, we hope, to get a fitness test done before the game. Odion [Ighalo] did really well in his place so we're well-equipped.”

However, it appears the 24-year-old could feature against Everton this weekend after he was pictured by MEN photographers boarding the team bus ahead of the game.

Odion Ighalo replaced Martial for the Europa League victory in the week, netting his first goal for the club as his side eased past Club Brugge at Old Trafford.

The Nigerian could lead the line again at Goodison Park this weekend and ahead of kick-off he was backed by the United manager to impress if given the chance.

Solskjaer said: "Odion has definitely shown what type of striker he is. He's ready for that game on Sunday."
