Anthony Martial praises Manchester United tactical change under Solskjaer

Anthony Martial has spoken of his fondness for Manchester United's new attacking set-up under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United have looked to play with a fluid front line under the Norwegian coach, with a strong emphasis on fast attacking movement in the final third.

Marcus Rashford, Daniel James and Martial all netted for United on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season, and the French forward thinks their new approach is to thank.

"It's good for us as it allows us to move the opposition defence around," Martial told the United App.

"It definitely helps to unsettle them and that's a good thing for us.

"It also means we can switch roles when we want to have a bit more time and a few more touches on the ball. It's very important and the key is to keep the right balance for our team."

United will be hoping their new attacking approach will bring them more joy on Monday night when they face a tricky test away at Wolves in the league.

Solskjaer's side lost on both visits to Molineux last season and Martial knows the pressure is on to find a solution next week.

Martial added: "I think that, as a team, they (Wolves) fought really hard and were always in your face.

"As soon as you got the ball at your feet, they were always at you, trying to win the ball back again. There were always one or two players on you, jostling you for the ball.

"I think that style worked for them in those two games, but now it's down to us to find a solution so we can avoid the same kind of performance as last year."
