Anthony Martial has 'no interest' in Newcastle United move, according to fresh report

Anthony Martial has 'no interest' in signing for Newcastle United in the January transfer window.

That's according to the Telegraph, who state Martial believes there are 'better options available to him, and has no interest in signing for the Magpies. '

The Manchester United striker has not hidden his desire to leave Old Trafford in January, after holding talks with interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

The French forward hasn't lived up to his 'wonderkid' status that surrounded him when he moved to Manchester back in 2015.

While his move has not been a complete disaster, Martial has not been a regular goalscorer during his time in the north-west.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the past few seasons, but that looks like it may finally materialise.

Sevilla are one of the clubs to have made an approach for the two-time Europa League winner, but the Red Devils have rejected their advances.

Transfer speculation linking Martial to St. James' Park may have been just that, but Eddie Howe's search for a striker to replace the injured Callum Wilson is indeed legitimate.
