Anthony Martial goal: Watch Manchester United star's magical strike vs Partizan

Anthony Martial delighted Manchester United fans with a sublime goal to put the Red Devils in control of their Europa League tie against Partizan Belgrade on Thursday night.

Mason Greenwood opened the scoring as Manchester United took the lead against Partizan Belgrade in their Europa League match at Old Trafford.

The 18-year-old, who became the club's youngest ever goalscorer in Europe with his winner against Astana in September, doubled his tally for this season's competition in the 22nd minute of play in rainy Manchester.

Greenwood showed excellent composure when collecting the ball in the middle of the Partizan penalty area before sweeping it home for 1-0.

And Martial made it two in the 33rd minute after receiving the ball on the edge of the box, turning two Belgrade defenders, and slotting it past Vladimir Stojkovic with a cheeky finish.

Watching the game at Old Trafford, Standard Sport's Manchester football correspondent James Robson said: "That goal brought back memories of Martial’s debut strike against Liverpool.

"He is mesmerising with the ball at his feet and he left one Partizan defender after another his wake as he put United 2-0 up.

"But the finish was equally as sublime with an almost impudent flick with the outside of his boot."
