Anthony Joshua vs Jarrell Miller: 'Big Baby' vows to beat Joshua as he has 'the heart of 10 lions'

Jarrell Miller has vowed to shock Anthony Joshua to become the new world heavyweight champion in their upcoming fight in New York.

‘Big Baby’ has been handed a shot at AJ, who will make his US debut on June 1 at Madison Square Garden, after a super fight with Deontay Wilder or a grudge rematch with Dillian Whyte failed to materialise.

Miller believes his superior size will give him a chance to pull off the upset, having weighed in at 315 pounds for his last bout, considerably heavier than Joshua, who tipped the scales at 245 pounds most recently.

“Of course not, never,” said Miller said when asked if he can be compared to Joshua’s previous opponents.

“I’m a guy that’s actually bigger than him. AJ has an inch or so in height, that’s about it, but activity and boxing IQ, good head movement and defence.

“I can throw a lot of punches and have a heart of 10 lions. I’m totally different.

“That’s the main goal – run him over. I’m not playing no games with AJ. There’s no way to prepare for me.

“There’s no right way for preparing for a person like me.”

Miller believes Joshua could suffer a fall similar to Frank Bruno, who was knocked out in destructive fashion by Mike Tyson in their Las Vegas bout in 1996.

“Like a Frank Bruno, he came in, he looked good, and got flattened,” said Miller.

“Tune in. ‘Big Baby’ Miller is not just the American champ, he’s the English champ, he’s the people’s champ.

“If you want entertainment, you’re going to get it, and this is a fight you need to see.”
