Anthony Joshua trolls Manchester United star Jesse Lingard with Liverpool jibe

Two-time unified world heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has poked fun at the Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard after using Liverpool to defeat him on FIFA 21.

In videos posted on social media platform, Snapchat, the 31-year-old chooses Liverpool on football game FIFA 21 before singing the famous You'll Never Walk Alone.

Lingard spent the second of last season on loan at West Ham under David Moyes' stewardship and the 28-year-old guided the Hammers to European qualification where they will enter the Europa League group stage.

As he prepares for his next fight, Joshua took the time to post on Snapchat his victory over Lingard.

In one post, he chooses Liverpool where he sings the famous anthem, 'You'll Never Walk Alone', holding his right arm aloft.

Upon beating the footballer, he has the famous song, played and sung by the terraces prior to kick-off, playing in the background as Lingard puts his fingers in his ears to block out the lyrics.

Lingard's form at West Ham saw him called up to the provisional 33-man squad but he sadly wasn't picked for the 26-man being left out alongside James Ward-Prowse and Mason Greenwood, who withdrew through injury.

The boxer on the other hand is preparing for a fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Oleksandr Usyk where he will be defending his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles against the WBO mandatory challenger.

It will be Joshua's first fight since Kubrat Pulev in December last year after he retained his titles against the man who took them from him and tarnished his perfect record, Andy Ruiz Jr.
