Anthony Joshua reveals what he 'can't' do when it comes to Tyson Fury fight

Anthony Joshua has spoken on the potential of him fighting Tyson Fury in the future.

The boxing heavyweight landscape has undergone major shifts in the past month and another twist may have put a unification bout back on the agenda for Fury.

The Gypsy King looked he was all set for a showdown with Joshua in 2022, with all four heavyweight belts on the line.

However, Oleksandr Usyk spoiled that party when he soundly defeated Joshua on points after a dominant performance in London.

A rematch between the pair is now set to go ahead in March 2022, pushing a unification bout further back into the future and leaving Fury in a difficult position.

Joshua has regularly spoken about wanting to fight Fury and reiterated that stance in an interview with the BBC but says for now he has his mind set on getting his revenge against Usyk.

On a fight with Fury down the line Joshua told the BBC: "When that fight happens, it happens.

"There's been one hurdle then another. I can't keep chasing what's not in front of me.

"What's in front of me is to become three-time heavyweight champion of the world, and that's the motivation."

Joshua has spent a lot of time in the United States recently, after ditching his former trainer to find a new team whilst he prepares for Usyk.

The former Olympic champion has been travelling across the United States recently as he speaks to a number of American trainers, having faced calls to change his team following the defeat to Usyk.

During his trip, he spent two days with Ronnie Shields, the former trainer of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, and his assistant Dominick Guinn at their gym in Texas.
