Anthony Joshua and Boris Johnson waxworks to go back on display at Madame Tussauds

Waxworks of Anthony Joshua and Boris Johnson are being readied for their big comeback at Madame Tussauds.

Merlin Entertainments said the museum and other attractions including The London Aquarium, London Eye, London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! will reopen on Saturday with hygiene and safety measures.

Visitors will need to pre-book tickets and get a time slot online, and use cashless payments. Social distancing will be in place.

Visitors will have their temperature checked and there will be hygiene stations and hand sanitisers at key locations.

Anyone aged over 11 visiting the London Eye, London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! must wear a mask. They can be brought or bought at the foyer. Visitors at Madame Tussauds and the London Aquarium will be “encouraged” to wear a face covering.

Staff will be wearing masks and personal protective equipment.

Sunny Jouhal, manager at the London Eye, said staff have been “working hard behind the scenes”.
