Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr came face-to-face for the first time since the Briton's sensational world title defeat in June.

Ruiz sent Joshua to the mat four times en route to his seventh round victory in Madison Square Garden to win IBF, WBA (Super) and WBO heavyweight titles - and inflict the first professional defeat of Joshua's career.

The two will meet in a hugely anticipated rematch in Saudi Arabia on 7 December, with the two men and their respective camps coming together for a press conference in Riyadh on Wednesday.

After some orderly exchanges from both fighters and their camps, Joshua and Ruiz faced off for the first time since that meeting in New York.

The two exchanged some quick words during the stare-off with Ruiz's trash talk appearing to amuse Joshia, who broke down in laughter before walking away.

Wednesday's press conference was the first of three taking place this week with one taking place in New York on Thursday before ending the tour in London on Friday.
