Anthony Edwards selected to second consecutive All-Star Game

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been selected to play in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Edwards, who played college basketball at Georgia, was the No. 1 pick of the 2020 NBA draft. Edwards will be playing in his second career All-Star Game after making his first career appearance last season.

Edwards and the Timberwolves are having an excellent season. Minnesota, who has the second-best record in the NBA, is looking like a contender in the Western Conference thanks in large part to Edwards’ outstanding start to the year. The Timberwolves are ready to make some noise in the NBA postseason after being eliminated in the first round in 2023.

Anthony Edwards is averaging 25.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. The former Georgia basketball standout continues to make highlight dunks and is one of the most entertaining players in the NBA to watch.
