Anthony Davis waives $4 million trade kicker for Lakers

The message from the latest bit of news from the Anthony Davis makes one thing very clear: if you take care of Klutch Sports, the Klutch Sports family will take care of you.

After creating more cap space following a trade of Moe Wagner, Isaac Bonga and Jemerrio Jones, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Anthony Davis will waive his trade kicker worth approximately $4 million.

The Lakers will now have the ability to add another max player or bolster their depth by spreading the approximately $32 million around multiple good players.

As we wrote a few weeks ago after the Davis trade was agreed to, making the most of the LeBron-AD era in Los Angeles was going to require an additional sacrifice from Davis and Klutch Sports. But now that Davis landed in his preferred destination alongside his preferred teammate, as well as a role in ‘Space Jam 2′ and a new endorsement, Klutch appears to have Davis’ needs more than taken care of.
