“THBPBPTHPT! That’s All Folks!”
We all know that tonight is the end of the Lakers regular season, but Tuesday night will also be the end of the season for a player that will be forever linked to the Lakers disastrous first season with LeBron James: New Orleans big man Anthony Davis.
And in the lead up to what is likely his final game in New Orleans, Davis once again raised eyebrows with his own public statements. This time, Davis didn’t say anything but rather let his wardrobe do the talking, as he showed up with a shirt that has the classic Looney Toons line, ‘That’s All Folks.”
It wouldn’t be the first time that Davis’ public handling of his trade demand from New Orleans have created some confusion. Back at All-Star Weekend, he refuted previous reports that the Boston Celtics were not on his list of preferred destinations. He then followed that up by saying that every team was on his list only minutes later.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Davis’ shirt is an indication that he will be included in the upcoming production of ‘Space Jam 2,’ produced by Warner Bros. and features the aforementioned Looney Toons.
