Anthony Davis lands endorsement deal with Ruffles

The move from New Orleans to Los Angeles is already paying off for Anthony Davis, even if the trade won’t officially go through for a couple of weeks.

Only a few days after it was reported that Davis would join LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers, Davis has reportedly landed an endorsement deal with Ruffles to be a “creative partner” in the brand, according to Front Office Sports.

“Ruffles keeps finding new ways to make the game more fun for basketball fans and a ‘Chip Deal’ in itself is unprecedented – which is exactly why I wanted to do it,” Davis said to Front Office Sports. “From the design of ‘The Ridge Tops’ to new flavors and contests, I have a lot of ideas and Ruffles shares my excitement for making them happen.”

So while Davis awaits to officially be a part of the Lakers, it appears that the move to the NBA’s most popular team is already helping his cause when it comes to maximizing money on his likeness.
