Don’t expect to see Anthony Davis on any of LeBron James’ Instagram stories during any upcoming Taco Tuesdays. Although LeBron himself said that he and AD can push each other more than any other players ever could, it doesn’t appear that LeBron believes in Davis’ abilities as a dinner guest.
Davis revealed that his invitation to Taco Tuesday might be in jeopardy because he’s not “fun enough” when he did a twitter Q&A on the NBA 2K account for the launch of NBA 2K20 this week.
“Taco Tuesday was great,” Davis said “LeBron does it every Tuesday. I’ve been invited once. You know, he said I wasn’t fun enough, so hopefully I get invited back soon and make you guys laugh.”
LeBron’s recent obsession with Taco Tuesday has led him to even attempt t file a trademark for using the phrase on social media and to start a podcast by the same name. However, it doesn’t seem like his trademark application is likely to be accepted, or even very effective if it does get accepted.
