MILWAUKEE _ It was a rare Thursday night in Milwaukee.
The Chicago Bulls were in town and the Bucks fans were drowning out the cheers of the Bulls fans.
Reggie Miller was sitting courtside as part of the TNT television crew, meaning the game was going out to a national audience.
And best of all for the home team, it was running and dunking its way to a 108-97 victory over the division rival Bulls at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the Bucks with 30 points and 14 rebounds and Jabari Parker scored 28 points. Mirza Teletovic had 13 points off the bench as Milwaukee (12-12) ended a three-game skid.
The Bucks led by as many as 27 points and held on after a Bulls rally got them within eight points late in the fourth quarter.
Jimmy Butler scored 21 points to lead the Bulls (13-12) and Dwyane Wade added 20 with Taj Gibson contributing 19. Chicago will not have to wait long for a chance to avenge the loss as the same two teams meet again Friday night at the United Center.
The Bucks nearly ran the Bulls off the floor in the first half as they led, 30-18, after one quarter and extended the margin to 58-31 when Tony Snell dunked off an assist from Malcolm Brogdon.
But the Bulls finished the half on a 14-6 run to close the gap to 64-45 at intermission.
The Bucks bumped the lead back to 26 points early in the third quarter as Antetokounmpo made a steal and fed Parker, who found his teammate for a fast-break dunk.
Milwaukee led, 88-66, after three quarters and had made 9 of 14 3-pointers.
Wade led a comeback in the fourth quarter and the Bulls closed within 101-92 on a 3-pointer by Doug McDermott.
But after a McDermott turnover, Matthew Dellavedova found Antetokounmpo for a dunk and an 11-point Milwaukee lead with 3:18 remaining.
Butler sank a 3-pointer to cut the Bucks' lead to eight points and the Bulls got the ball back.
But Antetokounmpo had two key blocks and John Henson added another as the Bucks defense clamped down in the final minutes to preserve the victory.
The Bucks wore SagerStrong warmup shirts to honor TNT broadcaster Craig Sager, who died Thursday after a battle with cancer.
