Ant Middleton says 'all will be revealed' as Piers Morgan comes to his defence after being dropped by Channel 4

Ant Middleton has said 'all will be revealed' after it was announced that Channel 4 had dropped him over 'his personal conduct'.

The news was announced by the broadcaster on Monday night (March 1) in a statement with them vowing not work with him again.

Middleton, 40, was known for putting civilians and celebrities through their paces on SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity SAS on the channel.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: "Ant Middleton will not be taking part in future series of SAS: Who Dares Wins. Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again."

Middleton quickly broke his silence, tweeting after the new broke: "After 5 incredible years I’ve decided it’s time to move on from SAS Who Dares Wins UK. Big respect to my fellow DS – it's been a journey I’ll never forget.

"Thanks to everyone that took part and made the show what it is. Really excited about the future and what’s coming this year."

However, after Piers Morgan jumped to his defence, the former British soldier has appeared to suggest he will speak out soon.

Good Morning Britain host posted a picture of the pair together on Twitter, writing: "Absurd that Channel 4 fired @antmiddleton for his opinions. He's an SBS special forces war hero, what did they think they were hiring – a shrinking violet choirboy?

"Such a spineless surrender to the PC Police. Ant's a top bloke – when he's not strangling me."

Ant replied, saying: "Fired??? All will be revealed. See you soon."
