Ant Middleton avoided talking about his departure from Channel 4 during an appearance on This Morning on Friday.
In March of this year it was confirmed that the 41-year-old had been from hit TV show SAS: Who Dares Wins over his personal conduct.
A Channel 4 spokesperson told the Mirror at the time: “Ant Middleton will not be taking part in future series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
"Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again."

However, during an appearance on the ITV daytime show Ant didn't discuss the incident with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
Instead, the former soldier spoke about his new book Cold Justice which is his 'heart-pounding debut thriller'.
Referring to the main character of his book, Ant explained: "Mallory is a warped version of myself if that exists. So he was in the military and he's after redemption because he made a huge mistake in the military, he gambled with a few lives, got it wrong, and had to leave because of the death of a couple of friends.

"And an opportunity comes along for him to redeem himself, but only that, the underlying factor of Mallory is he's a good man, he's got a pure heart, he likes to help people.
"So this opportunity comes along where he can not only redeem himself, but he can help a lot of people along the way. But leaving a path of destruction as he does so," Ant continued.
Speaking about why he turned his hand to writing a fiction book this time around, Ant said: "What I love about the fiction is you can control what you want in there.

"With a non-fiction, there's things that I can say and can't say. With this I can really go to town with it and really bring it alive. Plus I express myself in my books. I love writing because you can express yourself and you can control what you put in the archives."
Ant's experience on This Morning comes after he accused SAS: Who Dares Wins of 'cashing in' on him after seeing his image on an advert for the latest series in September.

The former member of the Special Boat Service - a Navy special forces unit - who continues to front the Australian version of the gruelling reality series, ranted on Instagram : "I’ve just seen an advert of SAS UK on 7+ here in Australia! Funny how the UK cancel culture ‘supposedly’ sacked me but they’re still willing to make money from my profile, my brand, my name, my work and my show!
"And now that I’ve opened up a market for myself in Australia they are capitalising on my success!
"Laughable, hypocritical and shameful but business is business and that’s exactly what it is… just business baby!" and adding the hashtags "#fightcancelculture #allnoise #allBS," he added.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
