Ant McPartlin sparked health concerns just moments into the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The Geordie presenter, 50, opened Sunday night’s episode of the ITV jungle competition with his longtime co-host Declan Donnelly, also 50.
Viewers noticed early on that McPartlin had an unusually husky voice as he hosted a segment before Emmerdale star Lisa Riley’s trial.
Donnelly even made a joke about his friend’s sore throat, hitting him on the back and telling him: “Cough it up , son!”
McPartlin joked back, “I'll shove you over there in a minute!” as he pretended to push him over the edge of the railing.

Fans shared their concerns about the former Byker Grove star’s health on X, with one writing: “Oh dear, Ant doesn’t sound very well at all.”
“Poor Ant’s voice is going! Can someone please get some honey and lemon to in the jungle please,” another added.
“Poor Ant’s going to have no voice at the end of this,” a third posted as a fourth user commented: “Someone get Ant a Lemsip.”
Last night’s episode saw the second contestant voted out of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Comedian Eddie Kadi said he had “such an incredible time” in the jungle as he left the camp on Sunday night, and despite lasting 16 days, said it felt like he had been there “for a year”.
His departure followed an emotional episode during which some celebrities won letters from home, bringing tears to the campsite.

Vogue Williams cried as she received an heartbreaking letter of support from her husband Spencer Matthews following rumours they had split.
Fans had wondered about their marriage after reports emerged that Matthews had left their longtime management for a new agency.
Matthews - who will be unable to support Williams when she leaves the jungle later this week due to his triathlon challenge - dismissed the speculation as he shared his support for his wife.
It read: “My darling Vogue, the kids and I are so unbelievably proud of you. Watching you take on the jungle with courage, humour and heart, fills us with admiration.
“You've always had this incredible ability to light up any room you walk into and we're delighted seeing you do the same out there.”
The message continued: “Keep being you, we're all behind you cheering you on, we're all counting down the days until we can wrap our arms around you again.
“We all adore you, Spenner.”
Elsewhere in the episode, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty stepped down as camp leader after she revealed that contraband, in the form of butter, was found in the food trunk.
As punishment, she had to decide to either step down as camp leader or lose two stars won in the day’s trial, picking the former to spare the celebrities.
The campmates speculated it could have been sports broadcaster Alex Scott, who was voted out of the jungle on Friday, after she was caught bringing in salt into the camp.
Meanwhile, during Monday’s episode, comedian Ruby Wax is set to face off against snakes in a bushtucker trial.
In a sneak peek at tonight’s show, the 72-year-old will take on the trial Misfortune Tellers, where she will enter a fortune teller booth full of snakes to earn stars for the camp.
Wax must untie a star dangling from the top of the booth, as a canopy of snakes hang above her head.
As the reptiles wrap around her, she tells presenters Ant and Dec: “The snakes are disturbing me a little bit.”
