And last night it became a family affair when he invited her daughters to join them at the Hammersmith Apollo in London for the fourth instalment.
A tanned Ant, 43, could be seen grinning widely as he guided Anne-Marie, 42, by the elbow as they left the venue.
His PA-turned-lover embraced the muggy May weather in a green floral dress, while Ant had changed out of his suit and into more casual jeans and shirt.
The cosy scenes will no doubt be painful for his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong, who was sacked from the show after her split from Ant.
He took a year off after a drink drive smash that left a four-year-old girl in hospital, and checked into rehab for a second time to fight his booze and prescription drug demons.
And talented celebrity makeup artist Lisa - who also works for Strictly Come Dancing - was let go by BGT bosses last December to ensure Ant's TV went "smoothly with no unnecessary distractions”.
The show insider said: “Although everyone is very fond of Lisa, it was clearly untenable to carry on working together.
“Ant and Dec are two of the most senior people on the show, sometimes these tough decisions have to be made.”
Ant's ex wife Lisa was granted a divorce him during a 30-second hearing at the Central Family Court in October last year.
The I'm a Celeb host and his teenage sweetheart had been together for 23 years; they were married in 2006 but announced their split in January 2018.
