Ant McPartlin is moving out of his £6million south-west London home after a planning row with his neighbours.
The I’m A Celebrity! presenter moved into the seven-bedroom mansion in Wimbledon with his now-wife Anne-Marie Corbett in 2019, a year after they got together.
The couple spent “hundreds of thousands” turning the three-storey pad into their “dream home”, adding a swimming pool with Victorian-style changing rooms and a two extensions.
However, the duo clashed with neighbours over plans to cut down six large healthy trees to re-landscape their garden.
Local residents argued that there was “no justification” for the move and claimed it was simply down to McPartlin’s “personal whim”.
Now, McPartlin, 49, and Corbett, 46, have decided to cut their losses and move somewhere else, as first reported by MailOnline.
“They sank hundreds of thousands of pounds into their dream home but have now decided to go somewhere else,” an insider said.
“It's surprising after all that they spent on the place but Ant's got plenty of money to sink into their next home and make it just how they want.”
McPartlin’s representative told The Standard: "Ant and Anne-Marie are not moving because of planning issues, they are moving for family reasons."
It is unknown where the couple are relocating to.
The Geordie presenter had been given permission to fell four cypress trees, a Weymouth pine and a yew, despite them being protected by a Tree Preservation Order, it was revealed last February.
Their neighbours protested, with an objection letter obtained by the Mail reading: “No justification is given for felling these substantial trees, other than the applicant's wish to allow re-landscaping of part of their garden.
“There is no suggestion that any of the trees are dangerous or diseased.
“The personal whim of the applicant should not override the benefit to the community and the environment in retaining these trees.”

The couple - who welcomed their first child together, son Wilder, last May - decided to appease neighbours by submitting new plans that keep all six trees and build around them.
The duo wanted to extend existing garden rooms being used as a gym, games room, study and studio.
“Approval has been granted by the council for the removal of all the trees at the end of the garden bar one large yew along the northern boundary,” their planning agent said in a letter.
“The applicant wishes to keep all the trees in place and build around the trees with a 'floating' lightweight structure on the higher ground at the end of the garden.”
The home in the leafy and affluent neighbourhood has five reception rooms, a large open-plan kitchen, cinema, sun room, larder, walk-in wardrobe, study and office.
McPartlin and Corbett married in 2021 after he split from his Strictly makeup artist wife, Lisa Armstrong.
Before moving to Wimbledon, he lived in Chiswick next door to his longtime co-host and friend Declan Donnelly for years.
