Ant McPartlin makes emotional return to Britain's Got Talent as little girl tells him 'I missed you'

Ant McPartlin was close to tears as he returned to Britain's Got Talent alongside his friend and co-host Declan Donnelly.

The popular ITV talent show is back on our screens this weekend. The last series was presented by Dec on his own as Ant took time out from work following his drink-driving conviction and time in rehab.

The duo return to our screens on Saturday and it's an emotional one for Ant.

Dec admits he almost walked away from Ant after drink-drive conviction

Saturday's show features a children's choir led by their headteacher who perform Queen's Don't Stop Me Now, the Manchester Evening News reports.

The judges - Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden - give the choir from Flakefleet Primary School in Fleetwood the big thumbs up after an emotional and touching performance.

The group all head backstage while David Walliams sobs, before Ant picks the little girl up and jokes he’s “keeping this one” - to which she replies: “I missed you.”

A visibly emotional Ant responds: "I missed you too. Now you've got to let go now, you've got to go through."

Giving him one last big hug, she says: "Bye bye."

"Bye bye," he replies, adding: "Love you lots."

Britain's Got Talent is on ITV on Saturday at 7.15pm
