Ant McPartlin gets back to work on I’m a Celebrity for first time since drink-drive shame

Ant McPartlin has got back to work on I’m a Celebrity for first time since he skipped last year's series in the aftermath of his drink-drive shame.

The telly presenter has reportedly rejoined his telly partner Declan Donnelly to film a promo for the new season of the jungle show.

Ant and Dec, both 43, are believed to have filmed a hilarious skit titled Two Men and a Boat, which shows them rowing towards Australia.

The pair are battered by bad weather and get lost, but they eventually make it Down Under.

It marks Ant's official return to I'm A Celeb since he sat out the 2018 series and was replaced by Holly Willoughby, 38.

A source told The Sun : “Holly was a fantastic stand-in and Dec enjoyed having her with him in Australia very much, but she always said it was a one-off."

“Ant is a huge part of the success of the series so everyone on the team was looking forward to working with him again.”

The promo is set to air on TV later this year as the countdown to the new series begins.

Ant was convicted of drink-driving after a car accident in West London, and he later took a long break from work to battle his drink and prescription drug issues.
