Ant McPartlin and wife Anne-Marie spotted in Australia ahead of I'm A Celebrity

Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett have been spotted together in Australia, ahead of the launch of the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Host Ant, 46, and his wife Anne-Marie were seen enjoying some lunch after heading to a surf shop together as they walked hand in hand alongside Coolangatta beach, in the southern part of Queensland.

Ant wore a dark blue short-sleeved shirt with a check pattern on, which he matched with a pair of shorts.

Meanwhile, Ant's wife Anne-Marie looked pretty in pink as she sported a floaty embroidered mini-dress with oversized sleeves.

The smitten pair smiled as they walked hand in hand together – with Ant wearing a pair of black sunglasses and Anne-Marie sporting a pair of aviator-style sunglasses with a brown lens and gold frame.

The married couple are enjoying some down time before Ant begins hosting I'm A Celeb, which is returning to the jungle for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic.

Ant's TV best friend and co-host Declan Donnelly, however, was not with the pair for the outing.

It comes as three celebrities have landed in Australia before they rough it in the Aussie jungle.

Radio DJ Chris Moyles was the first to touch down in Oz, followed by Olivia Attwood, who is the first Love Islander to take part in the series.

Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap opera, later followed as she was spotted at Brisbane airport.

And Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner became the fourth campmate to land at the airport on Wednesday morning.

The stars of the series are landing earlier than usual this year to ensure they don't test positive for Covid before the series.

A show source told the Mirror: "The Celebs normally arrive over a four or five day period and some come in just a day or two before filming and are still a bit jet lagged in camp.

"But there is none of that happening this year, everyone will be here a week before they get into camp and some are coming out 10 days before.

"They will be staying in nice places so it won't be like a prison cell but they won't want them mixing with people. Once they are out of the airport the idea is to keep them alone as much as possible to minimise any risk of them having to quit the show."

The 2020 and 2021 series were forced to move from the Australian jungle to Gwrych Castle in north Wales as travel restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic halted filming in its usual spot.

Ant and Dec last jetted to Australia for the series in 2019, where Jacqueline Jossa was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

The excited TV duo confirmed the popular programme will be heading back to the jungle this year as Ant told Heart Breakfast: "The plan is, we're going back to Australia, we don't want to go elsewhere. It's got to go back to it. Back to its spiritual home, back to where it all started.

"Everyone wants to see a bit of sunshine at that time of year on the telly."
