Ant won the approval of plenty of Saturday Night Takeaway fans at home by showing off what we could claim to be the ultimate telly snack.
It was a very different finale from what Ant and Dec and millions of viewers were hoping for but Ant settled into hosting duties by tucking into what is quite possibly the best TV snack ever.
As Dec reminded him that they both should have been on stage in Florida to host the Takeaway finale from Disney World in Orlando, Ant proudly showed off a crisp sandwich and, we've got to admit, the man's got taste!
At a time when many of us are making easy food to feast on, there's a lot to be said for the humble crisp sandwich and plenty of ITV viewers seem to agree.
One reacted: "ANTS EATING A CRISP SANDWICH NEVER RELATED TO HIM MORE," and another tweeted: "Give me a bite of that crisp sandwich Ant."]
We've only got one question Ant - what flavour were the crisps? And viewers are keen to find out as well, with one posting: "I hope it’s a cheese n onion crisp sandwich Ant?"
The Disney World finale was pulled due to coronavirus, with the outbreak also forcing Ant and Dec to host Takeaway without an audience for the first time in its history, before moving out of the studio altogether.
