Ant & Dec tipped to replace Caroline Flack as Love Island presenters

They've just hosted I'm A Celebrity but if bookies odds are anything to go by, Ant & Dec could be on their travels again to host Winter Love Island.

Caroline, 40, confirmed on Tuesday morning that she'd stepped down as presenter of Love Island's first ever winter series ahead of its launch in January.

Taking to Instagram, Caroline posted "Love Island has been my world for the last five years, it’s the best show on telly. In order to not detract attention from the upcoming series I feel the best thing I can do is to stand down for series six.

"I want to wish the incredible team working on the show a fantastic series in Cape Town."

She ended by saying thanks to everyone who'd send her supportive messages and also paid tribute to boyfriend Lewis Burton who has publicly defended her.

Speculation is mounting on and the bookies favourite at the moment is Maya Jama.

However, right behind her in the betting according to Coral are Ant & Dec , with their current odds 5/2.

If they get the Love Island gig, it would be the latest in an ever growing number of presenting jobs for the Geordie duo since they quit Byker Grove in the 90s.

After presenting scoring chart success and presenting The Ant & Dec Show on BBC, the lads went onto host iconic Saturday morning shows SMTV Live and CDUK, before fronting primetime shows like Pop Idol, Friends Like These, Red Or Black, Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain's Got Talent and of course I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
