Ant & Dec shock I'm A Celebrity fans with 'secret' backstage tour during ad break

Ant and Dec shocked their many Instagram followers on Monday by doing a whistle stop behind the scenes tour of the I'm A Celebrity set during an ad break.

The Geordie presenting duo were back in action at 9pm last night for another live episode, after Saturday's recap episode sparked uproar on Twitter, and were well into it when the show cut to its final commercial break.

And as they made a mad dash from one end of the castle to another to go and see the campmates and reveal the result of the latest public trial vote, they used their brisk walk to give fans a brisk backstage tour of the I'm A Celebrity set.

Dec held the phone as they took power walked up a rather steep bank in time to present their next link, shouting to Ant: "Come on slow couch!"

On their way into the celebs' living quarters, Ant and Dec passed the Old Shoppe, usually known as the Outback Shack, but now home to Kiosk Cledwyn with the show switching from Australia to Wales.

Ant banged on the shutter and shouted " we want mini eggs!" but, having given Jordan and Ruthie scotch eggs after they triumphed in the Castle Coin Challenge, which caused no end of tension, he was nowhere to be seen.

Dec ended the video just moments before the lads were due back on air and, unless they were on Instagram at the time, millions of viewers watching at home would have been completely unaware that they'd just streamed live to the world.

Ant and Dec are back on I'm A Celebrity on Tuesday, at the later time of 9.15pm.
