Ant & Dec's Limitless Win: Welsh sisters lose out on winning £30,000

Two Welsh sisters lost out on the chance of winning £30,000 on Ant & Dec's Limitless Win this weekend.

Sisters Sarah, 35, and Amy, 36, from Flint, appeared on the new ITV show on Saturday, January 22.

It was going quite well for the pair until they were asked how many points the red maple leaf has on the national flag of Canada.

They were still in the game until they were told their answer wasn't the exact answer, and it wasn't long until they were out of the game.

Ant said: "Ladies, you have run out of lives. The exact answer was 11. I'm devastated for you. You were so close on so many occasions."

The pair had managed to bank £30,000 up until it all went wrong, and Ant told them he was "really sorry" they didn't get to see them take home the cash.

Ahead of appearing on the show, Amy said: "We want to take risks and risks that are worth it to win a life changing amount of money."

But it was Sarah who submitted the application without telling Amy, even though she jumped at the chance of winning the cash.

Sarah added: "I thought it would be fun, and there’s no one else I’d rather do it with than my sister."

They may not have taken home the winnings, but they gave it a good go!
